Audition requirements are that singers have been former members of the North Texas Children’s choir and be currently in 5th, 6th, 7th or 8 the grades in the 2017 Spring school year.
Monthly tuition is $95.00 for the 9-month season with an additional fee of $50.00 for uniform rental.
Weekly rehearsals are Mondays from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church at 1801 W. Plano Pkwy. Plano, TX 75075.
TYC takes an international trip every third year, will be involved with the Texas International Choral Festival, and take a short tour on off years. TYC performs at the TYC Legacy Gala in October, the TYC Christmas Concert in November, and the TYC Farewell Concert in June. TYC is also scheduled to perform the National Anthem and/or God Bless America at Rough Riders baseball games and Texas Legends basketball games. Informal concerts such as weddings and corporate dinners are also a part of our performance repertoire.
